Media Diversity Australia – Disability Reporting Handbook
The Disability Reporting Handbook is a detailed guide to better newsroom reporting of people with disability.
While working with the Disability Discrimination Commissioner at the Australian Human Rights Commission, Lisa worked with a team of media professionals who collaborated with peak disability organisations to create the Disability Reporting Handbook (DRH).
Lisa was the inaugural Disability Affairs Officer at Media Diversity Australia and is still a passionate member of the organisation today. She is using her combined personal and professional skillset to help create a media landscape that better reflects the community it serves.
The DRH is the perfect writing companion for all communications professionals who are unsure about language when it comes to disability.
